Overview
CreteTech is a creative solution to tackle the rising housing market: a 3D printer that uses concrete as its filament. This technology enables builders to create customizable, modular walls that can be transported to a site and finished similarly to stick-frame walls.

Purpose
Custom Hardware and Software
By relying on RedSky Engineering to build both the software and a significant portion of its hardware, CreteTech was able to maintain full control over the design, functionality, and performance of their custom concrete 3D printer.

- Designed the CreteTech printer hardware
- Prototyped, constructed, and tested the CreteTech printer
- Built software to allow PCs to give the CreteTech printer designs and instructions
- Developed "slicing" software to better prepare designs for concrete's unique use cases
