Route is a technology company that provides an insurance purchasing and tracking platform specifically designed for Shopify customers. Founded in 2018, Route aims to simplify and enhance the insurance process for online retailers by offering a seamless integration with the popular e-commerce platform.

Enhancing Insurance Experience

Route required a Shopify plug-in integration that allowed customers to securely purchase insurance for the goods they ordered from Shopify sellers. The software tracks all insured purchases, notifies clients of updates to their shipment statuses, and provides reporting for all of those.

• Rewrote Route's existing software
• Collaborated closely with Shopify to incorporate third-party insurance as a new plug-in app on the Shopify system.
• Re-confirmed checkout dependability and customer satisfaction with it
• Incorporated an email-based system to track, monitor, and organize all shipping information into a single resource
